Justin Power has been training in the style of bboying since summer 2009. Initially a few members of East Rock Crew including Tony Ingram, Matt Power, Jeremy Brown, Greg Bruce, Tony Lengsavath, and Dave Gardiner taught him. He has since grown into a much more knowledgeable and capable dancer and was invited to join the crew in 2014. Justin has been travelling to further his education since 2010 and has taken workshops from influential international street dancers such as Mariano , Yvon ‘Crazy Smooth’ Soglo, Paul "Kaze" Thurton, bboy Kid David, bboy Ivan, bboy Wicket, bboy Taiyo and bboy Domkey.

Around when Justin had been breaking for 3 years many of the responsibilities of the community were given to him, and as a result he learned how to teach, throw events, and involve new dancers in the community. One of his biggest projects has been building his dance company with a large focus on private lessons.

On another note in the future he plans to expand the amount of kids he teaches independently by training some of his current students to become teachers. Once they are capable of teaching he plans to raise the amount of kids practicing bboying and other street styles.

His vision is to grow Newfoundland to the point where it can be considered one of the bboying and street dance capitals of Canada and North America with a goal of over 1000 community members.
